What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you use Yieldly, we store the financial data you enter — invoices, bills, journal entries, contacts, and chart of accounts configurations. We collect only what is needed to provide the service.

How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to provide the accounting service to you and your team. We do not sell, rent, or share your financial data with third parties. We do not show you ads. We do not use your data to train machine learning models.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics on the marketing site. It does not use cookies, does not track individual users, and does not collect personal information. Inside the application, we collect basic usage metrics to improve the product — never the content of your financial records.

Where your data lives

Yieldly runs on Cloudflare Workers. Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1, a distributed SQLite database. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit via TLS. Authentication credentials are hashed and salted — we cannot read your password.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. We process deletion requests within 30 days. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

API access

If you use the Yieldly API, requests are authenticated and logged. API keys should be treated as sensitive credentials. We are not responsible for data exposure resulting from compromised API keys.
